For my non Spanish speakers

Cotto made some interesting points:

- He is not impressed by Manny's last fights,quote"he has two arms and so do I, I'm not impressed"

-they asked him about the weight issue quote " I do not care if the fight is at 145,that is the weight we mentioned to begin with...

WBA light-welterweight challenger Amir Khan has revealed there is a chance he could fight Ricky Hatton in the future.

The 22-year-old Bolton boxer is set to take on reigning WBA champion Andreas Kotelnik at the MEN Arena in Manchester on July 18.

Providing Khan comes through the contest, he could well be on collision course with Manchester favourite Hatton.

Top Rank head Bob Arum yesterday torpedoed trainer Freddie Roach’s proposal that Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto has to come down to 143 lbs to get a shot at Filipino pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao.

“That’s not realistic,” said Arum about Roach’s insistence that a catch weight of 143 lbs be imposed for the proposed Nov. 14 showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
